Don't want to rain on your parade. It IS a good photo, but not up to par with any of your previous postings... Nowhere near.
Leave that kind of photos to amateurs like me. I've seen you can achieve more sublime results than that.
Sincerely, form a friend.

Nice picture Nishanth, particularly the secind one, I guess you used a macro filter, the shallow DOF really adds to the picture blurring up the top portion of the picture. Is that sepia tone?

Nish, these are fantastic pictures! It is macro photography at its best. The sepia tone lends it the old world charm. Amazing!

Oscar : I would love to know what you really think about this picture! where does it actually lack from the other pics.. is it the composition, the lighting? the tone? or the subject? this would really help me improve.. i too am just an amateur in photography.. anyways thanks for the comments :)

Sri & Satz & Suyog: Thanks guys.. i too guess its sepia :D

Nish, as I said earlier, it IS a good picture in a technical sense. It would look perfect in a sales catalogue, but to me it lacks the feeling that makes other of your shots unique. As you well know I am no real photographer myself, but I really can't perceive any personal involvement between you and your subject in that particular photo.

Thanks again Oscar, Its probably what i do.. i am a 3D artist and one of the main things that i do is work with lights cameras and some virtual objects :)

It gives me a lot of pleasure when i can achieve the same kind of results in reality(and the other way too) :) you will see a lot of this kind of stuff in the future.. i just love product and still life photography, gives me the kicks :D
